  Celebrating the Freedom to Read

Banned Books Week (September 25 - October 2) celebrates a precious democratic freedom - the freedom to express one's opinions even if that opinion might be considered unorthodox or unpopular - and the importance of ensuring the availability of those viewpoints to all who would like to read them. Join the ACLU of Idaho and the Boise Public Library at this special program to learn more about banned books and intellectual freedom.

Speaker: Monica Hopkins, Executive Director of the ACLU of Idaho

Location: Library! at Cole & Ustick, Sagebrush Room
